Skanska has signed a contract valued at 214m zlotys ($59.4m) with the Lower Silesian Road and Railway Authority for the construction of a bypass in Wroc艂aw, Poland.
This new infrastructure project aims to enhance the transport system in southern Wroc艂aw.
The new 3.6km provincial road No. 372 will connect the A4 junction in Bielany Wroc艂awskie with Grota-Roweckiego Street.
The project encompasses the construction of turbine roundabouts, a viaduct, a bridge, two footbridges, a ‘semi-tunnel’, and full technical infrastructure.
The bypass is designed to accommodate heavy traffic and therefore enhance safety, traffic flow, and reduce noise in the area.
Finishing the Eastern Ring Road will enhance connectivity between districts and suburbs, improve access to the A4 motorway, and decrease local traffic congestion.
